Caroline Boetzelen has always loved creativity. Her mother was an artist and instilled the arts into her childhood. She earned her undergraduate degree in photography and printmaking in upstate New York and completed her Master's in Architecture through studies in New York, Paris, and Philadelphia.

Caroline’s professional experience began as a fashion intern in New York City. Architecture became the concrete practice of bringing her love of the city, art, fashion, music, and design together. She worked at architecture offices in Philadelphia and New York and in 2004, moved to London and worked in a boutique architectural visualisation studio. Caroline’s subsequent work for Squire and Partners and Hayes Davidson developed her experience on high-end architectural projects.

After London, Caroline moved to Wellington, NZ, and established her own visualisation studio. She quickly gained a presence creating compelling, narrative-driven 3D imagery for architects, landscape architects, and designers. She moved her studio to New York and then Denver, and for the last 15 years has been creating images for clients around the world while raising her family in the United States.

Caroline has recently returned to Wellington and is launching ToiToi Studio as a new Aotearoa-based platform for her visualisation work. With over 20 years in the industry, she brings an experienced and mature eye to the creation of compelling and beautiful digital imagery for architecture and design.
